Meet Allie
I am originally from the suburbs of Illinois and have settled in small town, Sheboygan Falls, WI. I spend my days enlightening the minds of teenagers and quite frankly, they also do their fair share of enlightening me. I spend my nights playing, cooking, and enjoying my 2 children.
Some might wonder how I got started with cake pops. As a young teacher, I naively volunteered to be our school's prom organizer. While planning our prom, we were brainstorming dessert ideas. We stumbled across this dessert called a "cake pop". I thought, "Sure, I can make 200 of those." Little did I know what I started! Staff, students, & chaperones raved about these "cake pops" . Many of them were not even sure what to call these heavenly balls of cake dipped in chocolate and put on a stick. Students requested cake pops for the next 5 years at prom.
In 2012, my fiance witnessed the process of creating the infamous prom cake pops and said to me, "You should start a business." I responded with, "Really? You think I could do that?" With his business background, he started to ramble on about these great marketing ideas. The seed was planted.
A couple weeks later, I attended my sister's wedding shower and so I thought I could make some cake pops for it. This time I made bride & groom looking ones. Once again...a huge hit! Everyone loved them! My 1.5 niece had the best facial expressions. She had the cake pop stick in a death grip and was licking her cake pop like a lollipop. Biggest smile on her face. She didn't even have to sit in a high chair or at a table to contain a mess. I was convinced. I had to spread the love of cake pops!
